The GG Amos Band is an 5-8 piece Blues, Soul, Funky Jazz & Rock group led by GG Amos, an electrifying guitarist and powerful singer
with a distinctive, expressive style. GG has earned her reputation as a top notch entertainer with an emphasis on soulful, energetic performances, and real communication with the audience. She has performed with John Lee Hooker and Guitar Shorty among others, and opened for Koko Taylor, Lenny Williams and Elvin Bishop to name a few more. Besides GG on Lead Guitar, her band also consists of a Keyboardist, Saxophonist, Bass & Drums, but can also add extra horns and percussion for bigger arrangements.
Music can be tailored for dancing or listening for any type of event.

GG has a fantastic voice and made the wedding! The band was wonderful, they were very accomodating of all our requests. Everyone at the wedding wanted to know who the band was because they were so great. Stuart and I highly recommend them.

GG and her crew really know how to burn the house down with some sizzling tunes! We had tons of fun dancing late into the evening. My maid of honor almost wouldn't let GG unplug her guitar! GG's voice is perfect for classic rockin' blues like I grew up on in Chicago, as well as complex jazz pieces from various genres. I have rarely seen a live band with such range. She and her band added a song to their repetoire especially for our wedding reception 1st dance. The greatest kick I got was seeing my folks really let loose and cut a rug! This is music with universal appeal. Not only would I reccommend GG Amos Band for others, but I would definitely use her band again.
