They have performed for venues such as the House of Blues, B.B.King's in New York City, Mohegan Sun, and dozens of top venues but have also covered complete weddings including the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner, & Dancing portion. Bob is available for solo and duo performance for private functions and club dates, and performs a versatile array of styles from rock and jazz/pop to smooth jazz and blues. The Band's size and instrumentation can be modified to perfectly match your entertainment needs, making Bob Wolfman and his musicians the ideal band for any event. Bob loves many styles, but his preferred playing/performance genres are Jazz, Blues and Rock. Having played in every type of ensemble imaginable since the age of 13, (even a killer Latin/Salsa band for almost two years) he's an extremely versatile guitarist and vocalist. The Bob Wolfman Band band consists of some of the most seasoned veterans available with bass, drums, multi keyboards + Hammond B3 organ, and a sax/horns section. Throughout his career, Bob has performed with jazz giants like guitarist Larry Coryell (Jazz/Fusion pioneer), keyboard genius Chick Corea, sax great Grover Washington Jr.("Mister Magic"), John Payne(sax player with Van Morrison), Blues singer Toni Lynn Washington, Blues and Jazz Harmonica icon Mike "Turk" Richards, Bluesman James Montgomery, and many more over the last twenty years. All Bob Wolfman Band members have performed, recorded and toured with many of the biggest national and international acts and top name performers in the music business; Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Pointer Sisters, Rick Derringer, Allen Touissant, and too many more to list here. Bob and his band perform an array of his original tunes and some very hot covers, always made hotter by his dazzling guitar work and gutsy vocals. Bob emphasizes background vocals with the band, sometimes three or four part harmonies richly enhancing a very tight instrumental performance.
