"Lex & The Feral Cats" Blues are a professional, seasoned - raw, edgy, soulful and energetic group of top notch musicians that have been performing and working with the best of the best for decades. Lex & The Feral Cats are a powerful BLUES unit that brings the heat to any stage.
We come from both Chicago and Los Angeles giving a powerful on fire performance. We are booking up for next year playing festivals, concerts, clubs, casinos and major events. Our music consists of the old blues greats some with a new hot twist and the newer (Blues) artists that bring you out of your seat. We also play original music.
VOCALS: Alexandra (Lex) Nicole has been fronting Lex & The Feral Cats for the past 3 & 1/2 years (Blues Circuit) with a powerful, rich and edgy sound a huge range and with fronting bands known and unknown and working with recording artists for many many years has a long reputation of bringing IT to the stage. Blues & BluesRock are her roots from childhood when her first band was at the age of 12. Has written music/lyrics for many groups and performed nationally and internationally. Worked with the late Solomon Burke, opened for Tommy Castro and many other known artists.
GUITAR: Anthony Tetrow (Tony) A South-side Chicago native who is a massive Blues guitarist and a force to be reckoned with. He has played with Buddy Guy, Sons Seal, Lefty Dizz, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Pinetop Perkins, James Cotton Studebaker John and much more.
DRUMS: Rick Bryan - Rick is also a native lower North side Chicago drummer who has been playing with so many groups and well known artists, very in demand, awesome energy, perfection and happens to be our beloved, phenomenal drummer guy. When he was 17 he opened for Chicago. He has played with Gas House Dave in the Ray Charles Blues Lab, played with Mike Bloomfield, Harvey Mandel, Gary Rossington Collins of Lynard Skynard, Gary Sardinas, currently opening soon for Kurt Fletcher of Joe Bonamassa's Group and with Lex & the Feral Cats that opened for Tommy Castro.
BASS: Bill Hayes - Bill is an integral part of the Southern California Blues Scene. A phenomenal Bassist with amazing technique combined with an innate magical groove, soul, power and energy. He has been inspired by James Jamerson, FLEA. Bill is also a best selling author and long time martial arts instructor,he began his musical trip playing in garage bands of the 60's and then developed a passion for playing the Blues but still holds on to the 60's British Invasion days. Sunset Strip, Haight Ashbury roots-roots that will remain raw and edgy forever. In everything he does he continues to live by the credo that was woven into the Animals '1967 tune about the seminal Monterey Pop Festival: "If you want to find the truth in life, don't pass music by"..."
KC: Guitar - K. C. started playing guitar at the age of fifteen. After a few years of honing his craft, he started listening to the music of some of the Blues Guitar Masters. K. C. cites hearing T-Bone Walker's recording of "Stormy Monday" as the inspiration for forming his own style of playing blues. Eventually he wanted to play blues guitar in his own band. KC is a solid, charismatic, diverse and awesome guitarist whose playing adds color, richness and energy to the world of Blues music, namely:" LEX & THE FERAL CATS"... among others.
