Joe Freeman Bluegrass Band Bluegrass Band from South Point, OH

We are a working Bluegrass Band using comedy and comical songs heavily in our show. We are sure to be a crowd pleaser at any event from 100 to 10,000 in attendance. We have opened for many National groups such as, Ricky Skaggs, Doyle Lawson, Mountain Heart, Lou Reed and Carolina, IIIrd Tyme Out, Rhonda Vincent and many more. We have been featured on local TV and have played all the largest venue's in our area. We feature a 19 year old Mandolin prodigy and a Willie Nelson, George Jones impersonator. We work a guitar, bass, mandolin, fiddle and banjo regularly and occasionally work a premier flat top picker. We use the best equipment in the business including Taylor guitars and basses, Stelling and Deering banjo's, and Silver Angel Mandolins. We also use Bose PA, Shure Microphones, Yamaha speakers and shure in-ear monitoring. We have been commissioned to write and perform a song for The Governor of Ohio and Senator John Glenn. We also play some country and classic rock music if desired.
