Black River Express Bluegrass Band from Garner, NC

Black River Express Bluegrass Band is comprised of five friends who share a love for traditional Bluegrass and Gospel music. We really enjoy celebrating events like Church Homecomings, birthdays, anniversaries, retirement parties, or any kind of get togethers that enjoy live entertainment. Pig Pickins are a favorite. We are a fun loving family oriented music group that loves to entertain. We are very flexible in content and promise a good time. We have been performing for several years in the central North Carolina area and can travel as needed. We provide our own sound equipment (You provide the food lol!). We only need the area about the size of a large living room to set up. Black River Express consists of Mickey Tyson on lead vocals and guitar, Frank Graham on the mandolin and tenor vocals, Mary Warren on doghouse bass and vocals, Rob Stover on banjo and vocals, Dave Hambone Hamlet on dobro and vocals. Sometimes we may have special guests on fiddle or another fabulous acoustic instrument! We have all been playing this music most of our lives and know the enjoyment it brings to an event.
