Free Range Acoustic Duo from Portland, OR

Free Range is a musical duo that's out to make sure its audiences enjoy every song. Drawing from bluegrass, country, folk traditions -- and even some pop tunes -- they sing and play simple music that makes for great listening. In short, their music is user friendly. Free Range is two voices, accompanied by guitar, banjo and dobro. You'll recognize some of the tunes -- others will be new to you, but it's all engaging and entertaining. Their songs range from driving bluegrass to thoughtful musical stories to classic songs of love. Performing together since 2012, they have played for weddings, private parties, fundraisers, street fairs and farmers markets. They are prepared to work with you to include the songs you love and that your guests will most enjoy. Matt Snook performs on dobro and banjo, writes great music and sings lead and vocals. He is a full-time performer and teacher. Claire Levine plays guitar and banjo and sings leads and vocals. She has been a professional writer and communication specialist who is now dedicating more of her time to music. Primarily a duo, The Free Range trio is available with the addition of Steve Blanchard on guitar or Anna Snook on mandolin and fiddle. Both are fine singers.
