The Shoal Creek Bluegrass Band was amazing! They were so easy and wonderful to work with prior to my wedding and on-site they were even better! My guests loved their music during cocktail hour and dinner - people are still talking about them! Thank you for helping to make our wedding the best night I could have ever imagined!

Shoal Creek did such a great job at our wedding! Some guests even said it was one of their favorite parts about our wedding. The band members are very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

Steve made great song suggestions for the ceremony. He went out of his way to stop by our final walk through to see the ceremony location. The band was very talented and easy to work with!
The week of the wedding, the band let us know they needed to be in the shade or under a tent, which we had not prepared for nor was listed in their information. Thankfully there was a large tree adjacent to the ceremony site that was close enough so guests could still hear. I wish we had known about this way ahead of time so we could’ve better planned.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Shoal Creek Bluegrass Band for any type of event. Great band for a great value!

Shoal Creek Bluegrass Band was amazing. They were the highlight of our wedding reception. All the guests really got into the music (and my family are not music nuts and don't like to dance!). I would highly recommend Shoal Creek Bluegrass Band to others! Great job!

We can't even begin to tell you how much we love this band! Not only are they great musicians and performers, but they were consummate professionals as well. They played our pre-wedding BBQ for 60 guests and had everyone raving. Do not miss the opportunity to book these guys. Absolute winners!

Shoal Creek came and did our wedding in Chickamauga, GA which was quite a drive for them. They were there 2 hours early to set up and practice. They were very flexible and accommodating to last minute changes and the were the picture of professional. I particularly like the Ashokan's Farewell that they played for the bridal party entrance. Their music really gave our wedding a unique blend of character and class. Book them, you will not be disappointed.

The Shoal Creek Bluegrass band exceeded any expectation we had of them!!! Originally we had Alison Krauss' "Say nothing at all" as our first-dance-song to be played on our iPod, yet the iPod was not playing the song for some reason---I forgot to turn volume up on iPod. To our surprise they knew the song and played it for us. Their version was unbelievable and made our first dance forever memorable!!! Throughout the reception they played our requests flawlessly. They had all ages dancing from little kids to little old Grandmas. Their musicianship is incredible!!! I would recommend them for anything because those fine folks know how to boogie bluegrass style.

Shoal Creek Bluegrass band was a hit at our wedding. They set the tone for the evening, and really impressed everyone. If you want bluegrass, these guys are THE band to book. Thanks again guys for learning our song "Geraldine and the Honey bee" and for playing it Widespread Panic style.

Shoal Creek Bluegrass Band played for our wedding reception in December 2012 and were spot on. They learned some special requests that were important and played them flawlessly. They were on time, played well muscially, had a diverse play list, and created an entertaining environment for all of our guests. Based on their level of performance and diversity/flexibility I would definitely recommend hiring them for any event.

My girlfriend had a very specific idea of what she wanted the Shoal Creek band to do during our wedding, and the band did everything she asked for and more. Traditional music before the ceremony, multiple venues, playing inside, playing outside, entertaining the children, background music during dinner and then cranking up afterward - it was all exactly what she wanted.
I cannot recommend them enough - but don't try to book them on October 13th, 2013 because we need them to come back for our anniversary party!
