Peachtree Station has been playing weddings, festivals, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, backyard barbecues and other events throughout the state of Georgia and surrounding states for over twelve years. Some of the venues the band has played include the Ferst Center at Georgia Tech, the High Museum of Art, the Georgia Governor's Mansion, the Carter Center, and the Atlanta History Center. The band has been featured as the opening acts for some of the top performers in bluegrass music such as Rhonda Vincent, Blue Highway, Cherryholmes, Claire Lynch Band, and the Sam Bush Band.
Peachtree Station plays a mixture of traditional and contemporary bluegrass music featuring banjo, mandolin, guitar, dobro, and bass along with tight three-part harmony singing. Using all acoustic instruments, Peachtree Station has the flexibility to play situated in a fixed spot with a sound system or to stroll about a party playing in various locations (or a mixture of the two). Many clients have enjoyed having the band stroll during the early stages of a party and then move to the sound system later on when the party really heats up! Whatever your needs, we are eager to help find the right configuration for your event.
