Dellaneira is a multiethnic, award winning belly dance instructor and choreographer who has studied the art of Middle Eastern Dance since 2000. Known for being highly dynamic and theatrical, she leaves no details to spare. Her goal as a professional belly dancer is to ensure her audience is captivated by her performance, by preparing shows to fit the individual needs of her clients- and to surpass their expectations.
Based in Philadelphia, PA, and known throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, she initially trained in Egyptian Cabaret style of belly dance, and has added elements of theatre, martial arts, Kaleege, African Dance, Bollywood, Hip Hop and Tribal belly dance, in an effort to create a singularly extraordinary style of dance. She currently focuses on performing Fusion style belly dance, which she incorporates into her personal style of dance, to bring her unique touch to her performances. As a performer Dellaneira is described as raw energy. Fearlessly creative and boldly stepping outside artistic boundaries, she is constantly exploring new ways to further enhance her skills and the entertainment level of her performances. She thoroughly enjoys using her skills as a performer to combine the sensuality and aggressiveness in her dancing, while preserving the noble essence of quality belly dance performances.
Since the beginning of her career, Dellaneira has been honored to perform alongside legendary belly dancers such as Morocco. She has enjoyed sharing the stage with Animus, DJ Logic, Jason Miles, Bernie Worrell, and Jeff Coffin (two-time Grammy award winning member of Bela Fleck & the Fleckstones and the Dave Matthews Band). Locations Dellaneira has performed include: World Café Live, Berks Jazz Festival, Penn State Art Festival, Penn State University, Highline Ballroom in NYC, Salon Mogador in Canada, Community College of Philadelphia, and The Kimmel Center for the Hispanic Choice Awards. In 2011 Dellaneira achieved one of the greatest highlights of her career when she was selected to appear in America's History of Belly Dancers of Color, a film documentary featuring the top belly dancers of diverse ethnicities across the United States.
Please note that in order to preserve the image of the art of belly dance, Dellaneira does not perform at bachelor parties or men only events.
