Add fun and excitement to your party! A'isha is a professional Oriental-style belly dancer in the Kansas City area who will turn your party into a memorable, family friendly event! Her performances are sensual, as well as fun and engaging! Audience members has described her dance style as being authentic, elegant and classy, making her the most requested belly dancer at events in the KC area and beyond. A'isha is available for weddings, birthday parties, fund raisers, belly-grams, bachelorette parties, etc. Typically, one set consists of 20-30 minutes of dance, use of props (zills, veil, cane) and audience participation, but she would accommodate other arrangements based on your needs. Due to her busy schedule, she kindly requests that bookings are made at least two weeks in advance of the event date.

Originally from Romania, A'isha has trained with local US instructors, many international teachers (Randa Kamel, Luna of Cairo, Aleya of Cairo, Soraya Zaied, Aziza of Cairo, Raqia Hassan, Ozgen, Mohamed Shahin, etc) and traveled extensively to attend workshops taught by well-regarded teachers in Middle Eastern dancing. She has recently attended the largest belly dance festival in Cairo, Egypt! She performs regularly in local and national belly dance shows, fundraisers, art shows and private events, and participates in national and international belly dance competitions.
In addition, A'isha also enjoys performing Polynesian dances (Hawaiian hula and Tahitian drum solo) and Greek dances. She is training in Polynesian dance with kumu Debbie Rommel in Hula Hale O'Kiakahi.
A'isha is producing and performing monthly in the 1001 Arabian Nights show at the Uptown Arts Bar (Kansas City, MO), on the first Saturday of each month starting at 7 PM. She is also teaching weekly beginner and intermediate/advanced level classes in Mission, and Shawnee, KS, and belly dance workshops. When she is not dancing, she is enjoying her full time job as a research administrator. :)
