Athena was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful, always asking us what we needed or if she could help in any way. It was my lady's 40th birthday party and we wanted to make it comfortable and special - Athena did a wonderful job helping her and our guests have a great and enjoyable time. The two people who tended bar at the reception were great! Very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and accommodating.
Our guests complimented us on how well the bartenders handled their requests. I would highly recommend Bay Area Bartenders to anyone looking for the best service for their events.

We were sent a first-time trainee with a supervisor. The problem was that the supervisor left the trainee to handle the bar on his own and, this being his first gig, he was very slow. Fortunately, there were never more than 3 or 4 people waiting for their drinks. They were both extremely nice, the supervisor had nothing to do and offered assistance, but I didn't have much for her to do, so she mostly just hovered in the far background. Awfully pricey for on-the-job training. If I use them again or recommend them to others it would be with the stipulation to provide an experienced bartender, or ask for a discount for providing training on our dime.

Gerald from Bay Area Bartenders was wonderful and our guests were very happy when he made delicious drinks for them! We would certainly use the service again.
