Piper available for weddings, funerals, church services, parties; any type of event where a piper is welcome. I am retired and so I am available during business hours and weekdays in addition to weekends and holidays. Please check my reviews. I have been piping since ten years of age and I have performed for a wide variety of events including military Dinings-in at the USAF Academy during my tour with the USAF Academy Band. I have been a professional piper for most of my adult life and have performed in championship Grade 1 and Grade 2 Pipe Bands. I have been an instructor for both prize winning solo pipers as well as for successful pipe bands. My repertoire includes traditional and some modern marches, dance tunes, slow airs, hymns, traditional American and military music, Irish pub type music, classical music for the bagpipe called piobaireachd. My uniform is formal or informal style highland dress.

Jim's music added such a great "touch" to our event. In addition to his musical ability on the bagpipes, his kind manner and flexible attitude made it really enjoyable to work with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great bagpiper!

My experience was wonderful. I met Jim at my daughter's wedding rehearsal. He was very pleasant to chat with. He was honestly interested in the couple and the family. The day of the wedding Jim led the Wedding party in playing his pipes. He was professional and charming.

Jim Davidson was incredible. From the first correspondence I knew he was what we wanted. He is accomplished in his field and offered only the best performance one could. We hired him for our sons wedding. He entertained our guests before the ceremony and set the tone for a true Scottish wedding. He followed cues well for the procession, recession, and a mid ceremony verse of Amazing Grace with precise beginning, even though there was no time for a rehearsal. He traveled 2.5 hours just to play for our event. Jim was extremely pleasant and a real gentlemen through 9 correspondences and in person. He's a quiet man and gifted player. If you want perfection, Jim is it!
