Traditional Highland Bagpiping For Any Occasion I started learning the bagpipes in 1975 with the famous Peary High School Pipe Band in Rockville, Maryland. I continued piping in college with N.C. State Pipes and Drums during the band advanced two competition grades. During the 1990s I played with the world-famous City of Washington Pipe Band. In the mid-1990s we were arguably the best pipe band in North America. In 2001 I was one of the founding members of MacMillan United Pipe Band and currently play with MacMillan-Birtles Memorial Pipe Band. I have vast experience playing pipes at weddings and funerals and know the right questions to ask the client to make the event special and the client happy. My standards are high to go above and beyond the client's expectations. I truly enjoy "putting the icing on top" of an event and always am complimented on my performance.
