I am Alexandria Davis from Manchester, NH. I am a Scotish Bagpiper, traditional bugler, and trumpet player. I am a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians Local 349. I started my musical career at seventeen when I toured with various drum and bugle corps for four years throughout the U.S and Canada. I was principal timpanist and during parades I played bugle. I began my bagpipe career at eighteen when I heard a pipe band in Sudbury, Ontario at the potato festival. I was so inspired by the band that I began learning, and from then on, I have been performing with military honor guards and at non military events. I performed with the West Fargo VFW honor guard for two years as their bugler. I am also totally visually impaired, which I believe makes me able to really know the notes and paint a picture through what I play. I am a proud member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and I love the United States very much.
