Steve is the founder & president of the Pacific Auction Company, the largest charity auction service in Northern California, and he has dedicated himself to charity auctions full time for over 15 years. Before that, he had a distinguished career as a professional non-profit fundraiser, and the combination of being both an auctioneer and a fundraiser makes him a powerful force in encouraging people to bid generously at benefit auctions. Steve generates millions of dollars for charities annually, and is considered among the top benefit auctioneers in the country. While based in Northern CA, he is available anywhere in the US, Canada or beyond. Steve is a specialist in executing the Fund-a-Need appeal and is also a bilingual auctioneer (English/Spanish). He served as a beekeeper in the Peace Corps in Paraguay, where he taught impoverished farmers how to produce and market honey and other bee products. Following his years in Paraguay, he subsequently worked in Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Nicaragua, spending a total of seven years working with bees and rural people in Latin America.
