As a vocalist and former DreamWorks Records artist, Tina Vale wakes up the music scene with a refreshing, original style and unique presence all her own.
Tina's childhood was spent in Des Moines, Iowa. She was blessed with creative parents, and spent her early years honing her skills performing with her musically talented father at the family restaurant.
Early musical influences included big band, pop, country, and Christian music. After high school, Tina moved to Los Angeles where she landed her first staff writing deal at a major publishing company.
Tina sang on numerous albums with artists such as Steve Winwood, Natalie Grant, Shannon Brown, Carman, and other pop, country, and Christian artists. She worked with top music producers such as Christian producer Brian Tankersley, country producer; James Stroud, Barry Beckett and David Harris, and Nathan Digesare.
Kathy Mattea invited Tina to tour with her on her worldwide Love Travels tour. They visited Switzerland, Scotland, and England, among other amazing places. This success led to Tina's partnering with Allison Redmon. Together, they signed a contract with DreamWorks Records as the duo Redmon & Vale. They also produced two Country Music Television and Great American Country videos. Redmon & Vale opened for top name music acts such as Collin Raye and Jo Dee Messina, and performed at the Gaustad festival in Switzerland.
The pivotal moment in Tina's life is when she had her only son, Ethan. She decided to take time off to raise her son and put all of her love, attention, time, and creativity into him. This break nourished Tina's spirit, giving her a new perspective to bring to her songwriting.
