WeddingReviewed on September 30, 2006From Hoboken, NJ

We were extremely disappointed with the Hitfactory. They practically ruined our ceremony by using the wrong song, and after Ron found 3 versions of the song we requested he never thought to consult with us to find out which version we were referring to, he decided to make the judgement call himself, which was obvious quite poor. Who chooses a dance/techno version of a song for a ceremony??? It makes me cry just thinking about it. He kept apologizing, but gave me the impression that they over book and doesn't have enough time to listen to what songs you requested to make sure they are correct. Additionally he raved about their skills to adapt and entertain for any situation, but played the most awful music and had zero presence. Thankfully our wedding was in the afternoon and people wanted to eat and talk more then dance and party down. I finally gave up on them and thanks to my friend's CD that she made for me, we were able to dance a little and have a good time. I told them to just play the CD the rest of the night. I'm still extremely upset about our ceremony and will have our video guy redub the real song we wanted on the video (at our cost) so we don't have to relive that terrible moment over and over. They falsely led me to believe they were reliable with Ron's overly confident phone calls. At the end of the night he thanked me and asked me to give him a 5 star rating on Gigmasters...Sorry Ron, if you paid more attention to our needs perhaps you would have gotten the rating you wanted. Thanks, Regina and Andrew

We are very sorry that Regina and Andrew were not satisfied with the performance by The Hit Factory. We kept in touch in a professional manner as we always do with all our clients to see that everything is in order for the ceremony and reception. The song chosen for the ceremony processional by the bride and groom was delivered to us via email on 9/16/06- "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/Its a Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole." This is an obscure request and this name cannot be confused with anyone else! By the way it is Hawaiian...not techno! Over all this was not the most perfect wedding gig we have ever performed at. There were many difficulties and is

We luckily stumbled on "The Hit Factory". The were extremely professional, talented, respectful, and had great equipment. It is so important to have a DJ that does not interfere with the wedding and helps bring everyone together with music and that is what Ronnie Lee and his daughter did. He took all of our requests very seriously. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. They made our reception very special. Thank you.

Wonderful, Spectacular and Memorable!! We started off looking for a DJ and found Professional entertainment. All through the night people asked where we found them! The live singing by both Lisa and Ron was amazing and made the event even more special. Lisa's voice is beautiful and breath-taking. If you are looking for the best and want to make your event something like no other event... you will not go wrong with the Hitfactory. Spend the little more and get both of them. They will not disappoint. Stop and imagine having you and your guests sitting and listening to live music sung directly to you as you share this special event with friends and family. What can we say? It was one of the most memorable occasions of our lives and they were a big part of it. We are only sorry we can only give you 10's. It should have been a million. Thank you for sharing this special occasion with us. Thank you for spending the time with us to get to know us and create an experience that will be a part of us forever. Thank you for managing the reception and taking care of everything. We hope you can come back and play for us at our anniversary. LOL Special Thanks, Love Jerry and Sonja

Ronnie and The Hit Factory did a great job with our wedding! We hired him at the last minute and site unscene, we chose a DJ solely based on our budget and whomever returned our call fastest would get the job. We figured we might get someone OK to at least keep the music playing and get us through the night, we expected a few glitches so late in our planning. Well, we really lucked out and got a great DJ with The Hit Factory!! We wanted a very low key, professional DJ who would not talk, dance or sing over the music...I am a Prof. Photographer and have been at events where the DJ can destroy your party by doing things like that! Anyway, I was clear with our list of needs and Ronnie stuck to them. We had no real structure to our song request, in fact we only listed a few songs that we would like to hear and Ronnie used them as his guideline for the evening and it was great. I did not have the pleasure of hearing him or his Daughter sing but having met them and hearing their samples online I think they would be just great!! I never thought I would use a DJ for my wedding and I'm very happy that we hired The Hit Factory!! Sincerely, Michelle and Paul Jurries August 27th, 2005

Rob was excellent! He kep the party flowing with a great mix of the music we requested. He kep the guests involved with games and dancing. I would whole heartedly recommend the Hit Factory to ANYONE having a party. I can assure you that I will request them for my next party as well!
