Soul Inheritance Soul Band from American Canyon, CA

Soul Inheritance is a fiery horn band that plays good time music for good time occasions. The veterans of this band bring the best of old Soul, Funk, R&B, and Blues to the table with high energy and a party attitude featuring an outstanding lead vocalist in Steve Mesquite. The band also features luminaries from such bands as Tower of Power, The whispers, Cold Blood, Etta James, Solomon Burke, Paul Butterfield, Howard Tate, Bobby Womack, Buddy Guy, Malo and more. The Soul Inheritance Band has performed at numerous private parties, a variety of Art and Wine festivals, the Monterey Bay Blues Festival, Corn fest, Fog Fest, Konocti Harbor Resort, the Robert Mondavi Winery, Vallejo Waterfront Blues festival, and recently opening the show for Chicago/Earth Wind and Fire at the Concord Pavilion, The Shoreline and Sleep Train Amphitheatres. Our individual influences go all the way from latin salsa to hard Rock and roll but this is a soul band, dance band. Four of our core members have a 5 piece jazz group and we also have an inherant opening ensemble available by adding the fabulous vocalist Alishia Daniels (Pure Honey) to our basic rythm section for a lounge/dinner set.
