. Octavio Paxtot: (brief) BIO Octavio is a Miami-based, Santo Domingo-born singer and composer. Inspired by artists like Juan Luis Guerra, Cristian Castro, David Bisbal,Alexandre Pires that cover a lot of musical ground, Octavio’s original tunes feature Latin Pop, exotic Flamenco flourishes, the drive of salsa, a Spanish rock edge, and reggaeton and bachata influences - all tied together with a serious pop flair. With the release of his second CD, Historia de Amor, on the Diom Productions label – and the inclusion of his track “Pido Perdon” on Billboard Magazine’s 2005 Latin Music Quarterly 2 CD - he is poised to make a huge presence on the international Latin scene.
