For today's Top Tips we asked some wedding pros to give us a simple "yes" or "no" answer to "Should kids be invited to the wedding?" Sixty-six percent said, "yes." Only 33% said, "No." Even if you've already made your decision about the question, it's a great question to ask potential vendors. As you can see, it really gives you a sense of their personality and their feelings about weddings, and you want to make sure you find someone whose feelings work well with your own.
No. A wedding is a wedding is an extremely important event in the lives of two adults who want to be able to publicly commit themselves to each other within the bounds of a formal, adult- oriented ceremony. Whether in church or during a civil ceremony, if 'reverence' is not displayed by those attending, the whole tone and seriousness of this very important event can be reduced by the whining, screaming or crying of young children who, through no fault of their own, have no conception of what 'reverence' means.

As Asians, we always have kids at every family event. it is one of the ways for them to know and meet the wider family and learn the culture. Yes, some are naughty and misbehave, but as long they do not disturb the proceedings, it's fine. If you take kids from the beginning they know the sequence of events, and know how to behave.
