Recently on our Nicole wrote about a lucky dacshund that gets his very own doggy birthday party every year. As I was looking at the photo of the cake it reminded me of something that I just couldn't put my finger on.
Then I realized, it was a perfect groom's cake! Groom's cakes are a Southern tradition, and originally they were a dark (red velvet or chocolate) and masculine (i.e. no flowers) cake served at the rehearsal dinner. Lately though, they've become a highly decorated, fun way for grooms to insert a little of their own personality into the wedding day itself.
Take a look at these other two great groom's cake ideas, all of which include passions and hobbies of the groom.
