Kin Fo is a hillbilly band that play home made instruments along with a wide variety of traditional instruments
They play their original tunes along with cover tunes fer' folks of all ages Kin Fo has been entertaining on
Vancouver Island with an eclectic down home feel since 1996 .
Kin Fo play popular music with jazz, blues , folk and roots influences using homemade or improvised
instruments. some folks call their sound "Skiffle".
Skiffle originated as a term in the United States in the first half of the twentieth century, it became popular
again in the UK in the 1950s, where it was mainly associated with musician Lonnie Donegan and played a major
part in beginning the careers of later eminent jazz, pop, blues, folk and rock musicians.
With a washtub bass, washboard the bottlecap bootstick's and of course traditional instruments
