Ray has been performing solo for 35 yrs. Ray also performs as a duo and 3 & 4 piece band. (Band not available at this time.) Ray will adjust his style to fit whatever your function requires, as background music or as a full blown entertainer. Ray has performed for many different venues from corporate events, strolling minstrel at mall grand openings, senior citizen activities centers grand opening, high end dinner clubs, country clubs and family reunions to art & community festivals, biker parties and rowdy night clubs. Ray has played in Texas (2 yrs.), California (9 months), Colorado (6 months), Florida (6 months), Ohio (many years), Tennessee, Michigan, New York, Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Ray's song list includes new and classic rock, new and classic country, blues, 50's, 60's, folk, and some bluegrass. ARTISTS performed in the solo act - Beatles, Eagles, James Taylor, Toby Keith, Kenny Rodgers, Hank Williams Sr., Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, Soggy Bottom Boys, Buddy Holly, Everly Brothers, Willie and Waylon, Green Day and many, many more. ARTISTS performed with band - Rolling Stones, Beatles, the Cars, Bob Seger, Fabulous Thunderbirds, Bad Company, B.T.O., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Huey Lewis and the News, Georgia Satillites, Eddie Money, Tommy Two Tone and many, many more EQUIPMENT - Ray uses Washburn & Gibson acoustic guitars, Gibson & Epiphone electric guitars. Peavey and Vox guitar amps. SOUND SYSTEM - Includes Mackie, JBL, EV and Shure sound equipment. Ray uses a Digitech voice harmoneizer which adds so much to the acoustic act that it is a have to hear to believe. You can hear the harmoneizer on the songs listed on this site. Ray has logged well over 200 hours in recording studios across the U.S. as a session guitarist, co-producer with other artists and working on original material. Ray has no time limitations. He can play anytime night or day & has played 12 hours(not continuous) in a 24 hour period on several occasions. Travel is only limited by the pay.
