About Us Briana and John formed the Trading Post Duo in 2012 when they moved to Denver, Colorado. The guitar and violin duo focuses on combining elements of classical, jazz, and pop to add a unique, memorable, and elegant touch to your wedding, event, or party. We look forward to working with you personally to customize and enhance your day with our wide variety of music and unique flavor of sound. The ensemble can easily be expanded to a trio, quartet, or quintet if desired. Live Music + DJ In addition to our live music, Trading Post Duo is able to light up the dance floor with our DJ services for any wedding or event. Our mobile DJ rig contains a high end sound system with lights, lighting effects, wireless mics for ceremony, toasts, speeches etc. and scrims and fabric "dressing" to hide all cables/stands. Packages We are happy to provide music for any and all events! For weddings, this might mean music for any (or all) of the following: prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception. Our most popular package for weddings includes: live music for the prelude, ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dances followed by DJ music for the dinner and reception. All MC duties are included as well: presenting the couple, announcing first dances, cake cutting, toasts, etc. Rates We offer custom quotes for all weddings and events. We are based in Denver, CO but are happy to travel regionally, nationally, or even internationally.
