The Miles Donahey Duet Jazz Duo from Los Angeles, CA

Rebecca Donahey, Vocals Jeff Miles, Guitar/Piano Together, Rebecca and Jeff draw from a diverse and eclectic background and will accommodate just about any vision you have for your event. Special Requests are encouraged! We will do custom arrangements. Classical, Jazz, Broadway, Folk, Pop, Latin, etc. Rebecca Donahey began performing professionally at weddings and other private events while in High School in 1993. Originally from a suburb of New York City, she was awarded the prestigious Greenwich Choral Society scholarship, among others. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Boston University, where she studied with Metropolitan Opera greats Richard Cassilly and Claudia Catania. Shortly thereafter, she moved to New Orleans to perform the jazz circuit, before finally landing in Los Angeles. Rebecca regularly writes, records and performs with various projects under the name "Becca Fuchs." She began working with Jeff Miles in 2007. Jeff Miles has performed professionally for 20 years. At the age of 15, he became the leader of his church orchestra, and began performing at weddings and other private events. He hails from Houston, Texas and studied with Shelly Berg and others while playing with the Jazz ensemble at San Jacinto College. He worked full time as a performer and teacher in the Houston area beginning in 1999 until he relocated to Los Angeles in 2006. He has since established himself as a respected teacher and performer based in the Los Feliz area. He plays steel string acoustic guitar, nylon string (classical), and piano.
