Phoebe and Jaclyn, the Keynote Sisters, have been performing together for five years. Phoebe has been studying guitar for fifteen years, and vocals for six, while Jaclyn has been singing for thirteen years, playing piano for ten, and drums for seven. They perform primarily acoustically, with guitar, keyboard, cajon, and vocals. Their repertoire includes a vast selection of songs that can accommodate a variety of venues. Genres: oldies, folk, pop, country and blues. Past venues: Michigan State Fair, Ann Arbor Art Fair, Callahan's Music Hall, Meridian Winter Blast, Eastern Market, Dragon on the Lake, River Days, Clearwater Campground, Arts and Apples, as well as private parties, weddings, special events, and more. The Keynote Sisters have opened for bands such as Cosmic Groove and Bill Bynum and Co., in addition to performing live on local television networks.
In 2016, the Keynote Sisters recorded their first CD, Come What May, and in honor of their late grandmother, sold the CDs to raise money to donate to Alzheimer's research. Since the debut of Come What May, they have been working on creating their second CD, consisting entirely of original material, with plans of returning to the studio in 2018.
The Keynote Sisters are accompanied by a professional sound system and sound engineer, per request, and take limited song requests per event.
