Perle Noir Accordion Player from Portland, OR

I'd be very happy to bring some French Touch to your event, with my accordion and my repertoire of classic French Songs (Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg etc). I was born in The Netherlands, but I lived in France for 16 years before coming to the United States. In Europe, I used to perform at many different events, from markets to weddings, from festivals to living rooms. I've even performed in prisons! With my band in Montpellier, we used to do a regular 'bal musette' and the people in the audiences, young and old, would waltz together till late in the night. I'm still touring nationally and internationally, mostly performing my original music now, but I still love playing the French chanson repertoire. I can perform in one place with a small PA, or stroll around in the crowd. I'm happy to make sure that the music (and my costume!) will respond to the atmosphere, the people and the space at your event. I can play romantic French songs, but also more upbeat entertaining tunes. And I speak French fluently! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. I look forward to working with you!
