Unclejesse battle 90s Band from Jonesboro, GA

Jesse truly believes the greatest thing a man can do on this Earth is to make most of the gifts that God has given. "Uncle Jesse" Battle realized his gift and started singing Gospel at an early age. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, he wrote spirit-filled gospel songs which led to the formation of the gospel band Deacon Battle & Co. His first single, Living Water, was written in collaboration with his nephew, Sir Charles Jones. Uncle Jesse relocated in Atlanta, GA and began singing R&B and blues as a background vocalist for Sir Charles Jones, while still continuing to sing and produce gospel tunes. Uncle Jesse has performed at the legendary Peacock Lounge in Atlanta; He also went on to be featured at the Music Hall of Fame in Macon, GA. He has showcased at various venues including the Crowe's Nest, Vibe Restaurant, and the Musicians Club. He has also performed with Paul Beasley, the Gospel Keynotes, and Ricky McKinnie of the Blind Boys of Alabama. Uncle Jesse has decided to follow God and do his gospel music. He is currently under the management of Helen Howard.
