Shoppin' Kart Johnny and The Van Burens is 6 pieces band that ROCKS THE BLUES! The band is comprised of seasoned professionals. The band plays material from the 60's, - present. All of the material is familiar, upbeat and targeted for a 30 to 50 year old audience. Vocal harmonies are predominating throughout the show. We make parties memorable. Johnny's musical experience includes Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis shows, Johnny Cash, Chico Chasm, countless bands, many CD recordings, touring the U.S. and three tours of Europe with an American blues band. Shoppin’ Kart Johnny plays drums/percussion and lead/background Vocals and has written an original Blues albums lyrics and music. Johnny says, I have always treasured the words from Sammy Davis Jr. my entire life. Sammy told me "always play the best you could". We are currently recoding an original blues CD “Spare Parts” lyrics and music by Shoppin’ Kart Johnny scheduled to go on sale in May.
