They were amazing. I requested a special song for my daughters ceremony and they played it perfectly. They also played at my daughters cocktail hour, adding that extra special touch.
I can never thank them enough for how wonderful they were.

Having Art-Strings perform at our cocktail hour was an absolute pleasure. Their level of talent is second to none. Our guests were absolutely blown away by them. Forget the DJ, food, and flowers; Art-Strings were without a doubt the hit of the evening. People were raving about them long after they had finished their performance. They took requests from our guests, and were very accomodating in every way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality musicians, and anyone looking to add something very special to their special occassion.

I am SO happy that I used Art-Strings for my wedding ceremony! Alexander, the leader of Art-Strings, was absolutely wonderful to deal with. He was courteous, on top of reminding me what info I needed to get to him, provided great suggestions of his own on ceremony music and most importantly, figured out a way to our non-traditional recessional song choice sound wonderful with a string trio. I was extremely impressed and would definitely recommend Art-Strings to anyone looking for string musicians for their wedding or any other event.

Alexander was so helpful in creating a playlist for our wedding and very communicative about wedding-day logistics. He did his very best to accommodate our wishes and even played some tunes over the phone for me to have a better idea of the songs he could play for us at the event. At the reception, the cello/violin duet dueled with our DJ to Jay-Z's "Big Pimpin'"! Our guests couldn't get enough! From Vivaldi to Jay-Z- they can play it all! I'd recommend them to anyone and would absolutely work with them again in the future.

We hired Alex (violinist) and Marina (pianist) for our daughter's 2nd Birthday. Sounds too sophisticated, but their performance was extremely enjoyable and appropriate for both the children and adults.
Alex is thorough and deeply cares about making sure your vision of the event is met. He was very accommodating; the event took place on a rooftop and he played beautifully.
We highly recommend Alex for any event whether for a small crowd, or small people. Thank you Alex, for a beautiful celebration.

Alexander was great to work with. He responded timely to emails, took requests without asking for more money, and he and his partner(cellist) played beautifully. Unfortunately I never even got the chance to say hello at the ceremony. Overall I highly recommend Art-Strings.

Art Strings was fantastic!!! They went out of their way to accommodate me! My wedding was outdoors in 50 degree weather. Even though their contract stated they wouldn't play in less than 60 degrees, they still found me musicians willing to play. They were fantastic!!! The music was beautiful. They arrived early, set up and made the pre-ceremony and ceremony absolute complete and perfect! They were courteous and friendly, I simply can't say enough about them!!! I would most definitely recommend Art Strings for your events!

I called several performers and I had a good feeling when I spoke to Alexander from Art-Strings. He spent a long time speaking to me on the phone about my options and I just felt comfortable with him. Every time I called or emailed he was very quick to get back to me. The day of my wedding I heard the music (harp & violin)as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and I became a little emotional because sounded so beautiful! There's something about 'Canon in D' being played live that always gets me. Overall I would definitely recommend Art-Strings. They were accommodating, reasonably priced, and sounded great!
