Joe was absolutely wonderful! We hired Joe to play at our wedding in May. We thought some live music would really add to the mood for the day and we could not have been happier with choosing to go with Joe. He was on time, friendly and overall a great performer. Everyone loved his music. He took tons of requests. It was festive and went perfectly with our outside hookah bar. Joe even played our first dance, which meant he had to carry his steel drum from the outside area all the way around to the reception. He seemed to do this seamlessly and the song was perfect. I would recommend hiring Joe again and again. Very professional!

Joe provided music for a family multi-birthday celebration and it was terrific! He performed solo on steel drum, but you would have thought he was accompanied by a group of talented musicians. The range of selections was outstanding, and just when you were settling into a comfortable, familiar blend of Bob Marley and other reggae favs, you'd hear an outstanding steel drum version of Otis Redding, Pink Floyd or other great 60s/70s music. We had a bounce castle to entertain the kids but they were transfixed by Joe's playing and spent much of their time dancing around his set-up and just watching him play. We would highly recommend Joe for any type, any size event.

Joe is an amazing performer and the nicest, most sincere person! He was awesome! He communicated with me often and worked with me to create some great sets of music that I wanted and was flexible with the timing of breaks and brought great energy to our party. He was able to keep me calm as my anxiety was getting crazy before the party.
I hope I can find another opportunity to employ Joe and Colt Morris again for another very special night. They are both incredibly kind and talented people.

Joe is truly an amazing individual!. He is not only very professional and so talented, he is a genuine true caring person. He arrived on time and got right to work. He was so accommodating and so friendly that we felt and treated him as if he were one of our family members. We all enjoyed his music very much and so glad that we hired him for this event. The party was a hit and everyone asked us for his info. We want to throw another party for no reason at all except to hire Joe again and have him play for us!! Excellent all around! I hired Joe to perform at my wedding and put in a special request for a song that he had to learn in order to be able to perform. He did an AMAZING job, sang it exactly how I wanted, and was very professional and easy to work with. I would hire him again and again and give my highest recommendation. If you are not sure if you should hire him for a job, take my advice, he is completely worth it. I'm soooooooo happy he was there and a part of making my day perfect!!!!

We hired Joe as part of our school's first International Festival as one of the entertainers. He arrived early and was set up and all ready to start playing well before the event started. In fact, as we were hustling around trying to handle last minute details, he even volunteered to help. He played a nice variety of songs that both kids and adults enjoyed and really set a festive mood. Joe was able to get a game of limbo started for the kids and everyone enjoyed that. Several people came up to me afterward and asked for his contact information for backyard parties, etc. and numerous others said how much they enjoyed his performance. Excellent job!

Our booking with Joe Divita was a big success! Joe was totally accomodating, easy to deal with, has lots of different talents and was fabulous. Joe was specifically booked for this caribbean theme boat cruise in which he brought his steel drum and the bonus was his singing. This booking was originally supposed to be on a boat but due to the weather conditions we took the party to a bar/restaurant. Joe easily flowed with the last minute change and the party was a big success. I would highly recommend Joe Divita.

My surprise party for my mom's 70th Birthday was such an amazing event. Joe DiVita's steel drum band was amazing from the moment I spoke to him on the phone to the moment they left. It was such an honor to have him preform for us in my back yard. He was so friendly and extremely talented. I had neighbors stopping over my house to hear the band and asking for business cards. Family and friends at my party were asking for cards too. I couldn't have been more pleased, we are all still talking about it. This defiantly was the best experience we have ever had with a band!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Divita and his Trio surpassed all expectations! Their website does not do them justice! They were prompt, professional and so much fun to listen to! Great upbeat music for their entire performance. Joe performed for almost 400 people during the cocktail hour portion of our event and really set the tone for the whole evening! Every guest I spoke with only had favorable things to say about the performance!

Joe was excellent! The basics were covered: On time, courteous, professional, time conscious of breaks as agreed and accommodating to minor changes in the flow of the event. Although I personally enjoyed Joe, I sent out a survey to my associates. 100% rated Joe consistently with the ratings in this survey (Outstanding!). Although Joe plays with a larger venue he certainly delivered an exceptional and very appropriate individual performance for our venue. His website gave very appropriate samples of music for exactly what he delivered and what our planning committee was looking for. Thanks again Joe! GREAT JOB!

I hired a 3 member band that included Joe and two other guys for my Mom's 70th/Mom and Dad's 50th anniversary party. The band was exceptional. From the booking to the set-up to the gig itself, we couldn't have been more pleased. Joe responded quickly, they were friendly, and they are very talented musicians. I requested they play my parents "song". Joe said he didn't know it, but that he would learn it for the party. He did and it was great. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone and will definitely use them again if we're in need of a talented steel drum band! Thanks!!

On a scale of 1-5, our family would give Joe a 10. He was absolutely fabulous. Our Mom wanted steel drums for her 60th birthday party and we lucked out when we found Joe. His choice of songs was tremendous and not only does he play the steel drums wonderfully, he plays acoustically as well. We chose to do Joe solo because it was a backyard party and we were more than pleased with our choice. The sound was perfect, he was extremely kind and polite, he showed up an hour before start time to set up and he stayed later. We cannot say enough great things about Joe. He was AWESOME and the birthday girl was delighted..Thank You Joe for making our great day perfect!

We hired Joe as a solo act for a casual backyard party and he was perfect for the occasion. My guests made many comments on how great he was. I even had a native Kingstonion as a guest and he enjoyed the music and commented on how he enjoyed the alternative reggae versions Joe was performing. For three hours I was transported back to my previous vacations in Jamaica and Antigua and didn't want it to end. I also appreciated that the whole time Joe portrayed that he loves what he does, it really showed through in his performance. I would recommend Joe to anyone who asks. Thanks Joe !!!
