Thanks for viewing my materials! I entertain by singing, playing guitar and chromatic and diatonic harmonica. My performances have a full band sound, featuring tropical, jazz, folk, classic rock, and country music. I have played in San Diego professionally for over 30 years, have played acoustic guitar for 40 years, and also play mandolin and ukulele. I am also a pirate! I play here in San Diego with a group called Jackstraws, and we do nautical and maritime songs in an audience friendly manner, and I am available as a solo performer with this material. We perform regularly at Sea World and onboard the Star of India--the world's oldest working seagoing vessel. There are some photos in my package here that include this group--one on the Star and another at Legoland with "Dora the Explorer" that they used on a flyer. I also play the Ztar, a unique doubleneck guitar synthesizer controller, and this instrument is featured in my video of Under the Boardwalk. • Gary performed for our New Year's Party. He came well before the event and set up everything so that he was ready right at the start of the party. Very relaxed and professional. We were extremely pleased with his talent, versatility and rapport with our guests. • We held a Renaissance costume birthday party in our home which included a large patio area. Gary dressed the part and was a big hit at the event. For about 2 hours he strolled about the party goers playing a mandolin and singing. In the last hour we had 3 sing alonges and then he played some rock and roll where we enjoyed dancing.
