When going through the 1-5 ratings, my husband continually tried to tell me to rate Allen Cruz & the Galaxy with 10's. Hopefully this paints the picture of how happy and impressed we were with Allen & the band. They were beyond our highest expectations. They assisted with AV work outside of their performance, provided emcee services, actually performed the songs for our first dance & parents' dance, and provided an amazing show that even the venue workers said was the best they had ever seen. Allen was accommodating to changes and communicated so well throughout the planning process. The level of professionalism and talent in this group is phenomenal. 100% recommend.

The band was outstanding. We booked them for our daughter's wedding. They were able to connect well with our guests, young and old alike. The dance floor was a sea of activity all night long. As well, Allen provided excellent emcee services. He handled the wedding announcements very well. They were a significant part of great wedding reception. I recommend them highly.

Wow!!! What a great band! I hired them for my sons high school graduation party. I was a little nervous because I did not get to hear them play prior to the event. But I had contact with him before the event . Allan Always called me back and answered all my questions and concerns. I felt like I was in good hands from the start. This band rocked and would be great for all types of events. We had people from 18-80 age group and tons of people danced> Thanks Allen !!!! will definitely catch you at some local venues. In fact I am still sore from dancing.lol

Simply put, this band is phenomenal and you should book them. They played our wedding reception and they brought down the house. Everyone that we talked to about the reception brought up how great the band was. High energy but professional. Super talented group of musicians. They were tremendously accommodating while we were planning. Very responsive in answering our million questions and worked with us on our special requests. They showed up early to set up just to make sure everything was ready to go and they weren't in the way. Allen was a great MC during all of the first dances and toasts and then they proceeded to put on a performance that we'll never forget.

Allen Cruz & the Galaxy is a wonderful band to work with! We booked them to play during our cocktail hour and wedding reception and they truly blew our expectations out of the water. They were very professional, accommodating to our requests and they seriously rocked! By the end of our reception, we had SO many guests asking where we found the band and how to hire them for their next event. I have so many good things to say about AC&G. Super talented group of young guys, very professional, and very responsive. They even traveled to play our wedding from out of state for a very reasonable price.
They were extremely accommodating and agreeable by learning a few special requests. Being the detail-oriented individuals that we are, these requests came with some very specific instructions, and Allen knew exactly what we were asking for. Allen MC'd the event like a pro too.
Their set consisted of a huge variety of cover tunes, and our guests all had great feedback about the music. Overall, we couldn't be happier!

Allen Cruz and the band are absolutely AMAZING! From the first song they played to the very last the dance floor was over flowing with people at our wedding. Allen Cruz & the Galaxy performed at our wedding reception. They were absolutely fantastic. They were responsive to email, incredibly organized and very talented. Everybody at the reception had a great time dancing. They played everything from classic rock and 80's music to country and more current pop music. Allen did a great job emceeing the reception as well. I only wish we had reason to throw another event that we could come have them play at.

Allen Cruz & The Galaxy is an incredibly talented band. They are versatile and can do solid covers of wedding standards, classic rock, and today's pop and alternative hits. We appreciated the band's willingness to travel, and their ability to provide their own professional sound gear was key due to our rustic venue.
The band learned 3 songs outside their repertoire and played them flawlessly. Allen is also a great MC and DJ, and seamlessly worked in my playlists for set breaks, dinner music, etc. My only suggestion for improvement is that it was difficult to connect by phone and all logistics had to be worked out by email.
I'd definitely recommend!

Fantastic. The band sounded amazing. Allen was easily the best MC/ HYPEMAN I have ever seen at a wedding. Guest were coming up to me all night telling me how great the band is. "I love this band" and "the lead singer is amazing" is all I heard from my guest all night. I would book Allen Cruz and the galaxy for any event I would need in the future. Allen was extremely helpful in the planning stages as well. He made me feel like a long lost friend every time we talked. If you are thinking about hiring a band for any event...hire this band. Do it before someone beats you to it and you miss out on them. Trust me. They are worth every penny.

Allen Cruz & The Galaxy did not disappoint one bit! They were very responsive, friendly, and helpful leading up to the wedding. They played great songs that literally had every guest out on the dance floor until the reception had ended. Their musicality and chemistry as a band is incredible, Allen's emcee skills were unbeatable as he followed our itinerary to the tee, and they all seemed to really enjoy themselves as they played throughout the evening & helped set the tone of the night. My wife and I went to a family wedding a week after and my grandfather came up to us and said "I wish the band you guys had at your wedding was playing again". WOULD/WILL HIRE AGAIN!

Allen Cruz and the Galaxy recently played at my son's wedding. We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and performance. Allen was friendly and easy to work with before and during the event. Allen did a great job as MC. The band adjusted their volume to the venue (something many bands don't seem to be able to do) and played to the crowd. I wold definitely recommend this band for a private event.

The band is very talented, but they began playing late, 30 minutes after the event began and then took a 30 minute intermission within an hour into the night. Not at all happy about that.
