Skip was great! Super accommodating and we are so happy we booked him for our wedding. He played the ceremony and cocktail hour and the guests loved him. If piano music is what you’re looking for I’d highly recommend Skip!

Skip was WONDERFUL! He contacted my parents to form a playlist tailored to their tastes for their anniversary party, kept in contact with me for the contracting piece, showed up promptly and early, and happily played to the crowd's delight. Many of my parents' friends asked Skip for a card if that is any indication of how well he performed. So glad we booked Skip and he made the event truly special!

Skip looked quite 'dapper' in his tuxedo. Skip was very accommodating in the 'timing and presentation' of the United States Air Force song for us, and the happy birthday music too, and particularly wonderful 'love' songs for our 50th wedding anniversary and my husband's 90th birthday. Highly recommend Skip to everyone.

If I could go higher than a 5, I would. I can't begin to say enough remarkable things about Skip. His professionalism, talent and ease to work with, was one of stellar quality. He truly made our event very special, and we received numerous positive comments from the crowd. A consummate professional! Stayed in contact with us before the big day. Arrived before I did, scoped out the venue to make sure he didn't need to use his own gear (he brought it just in case). Played exactly the music we asked for, even the special request stuff. Will recommend to anyone looking for a solid musician for their special event.

Skip was great! I hired him to play ceremony and cocktail hour music for my wedding. As an out-of-town bride, I didn't have the opportunity to meet him in person or hear him live before my event. However, he was always responsive to my calls or emails and I felt confident that he would do a great job. I wasn't disappointed. Everything was very seamless and his transitions between songs was great. The piano music added a very elegant touch to my wedding.

Skip is personable, soft and kind. He is not intimidating at all - to those of us who love music but may not be able to communicate our needs - he thinks out what suits your "gig" for you. When Skip first arrived at my house, I was worn and exhausted from preparation for my husband's passing and memorial send-off. Skip read my mind. he learned my husband's "songs." He has 5000 of his own memorized. Skip is a total gentleman. This experience was economical, painless and soothing. Please have this panist perform in your home. If he could pull it off so seamlessly in my home, he can perform effortlessly anywhere.

Skip Hancock is worth every single cent. We gave him a very difficult task in mixing jazz swing style into traditional wedding and religious music. This resulted in some of the best renditions of wedding music that I have ever heard in my life. His "jazzed" version of Trumpet Voluntary could easily be the new standard for bridal entrances - as everyone in our congregation loved it. His styling, professionalism, and flexibility makes him my highest pick for pianists from this point on. In fact, we are hoping to have another event that we can book Skip to come and play for. My spouse and I can fully -without ANY hesitation- endorse and recommend Skip Hancock.
