Poetic License ROCKED our wedding reception! They were super tight and energetic, and had our guests on the dance floor the whole time. As a musician myself, I have to say they really impressed me with their tightness, energy, excellent musicianship, powerful lead vocals, and spot on three-part vocal harmonies. There are very few other bands out there of comparable quality and price.
Poetic License was also extremely professional in all of our dealings with them, and they even learned three new songs just for us! If you are looking for a high quality yet affordable band for your wedding reception (or any other event), look no further than Poetic License.

Poetic License did great! They clearly discussed what was needed to make the night a sucess. They played fun musice that all our guests loved. Their guitarist rocked! All the band members were friendly, courteous and professional! I can't wait to use them again for another event! Great job PL...u guys rocked! Thank you for making our 10 year anniversary and holiday party such a blast!

excellent timing on responding to emails and texts, EXCELLENT music. all my guests loved the music and band. the neighbors who we've never met came to ask the contact information of the band as they also loved the music they were accommodating and prompt I will definitely recommend and hire in the future

Poetic License was professional and friendly from start to finish...really great peeps...all of them! They accomodated all of our song requests, had excellent communication within a 6-month planning time, and made the connection between the event management team and them effortless! To top it off, they contacted our alma mater's music department at our request and learned the music for our alma mater so our group of 450 reunion goers could kick off the evening with our alma mater...very nice! Poetic License played an AMAZING show at our wedding. Our guests were ranting and raving about them, and even asking them for their business card. They really were the icing on the cake to our event. Every special request we had, they entusiastically did everything they could to make it happen. They learned the song for our first dance and played it perfectly. They also had to learn Hava Nagila for the Hora and it was the best, most rockin' version we've ever heard. I can't say enough good things about the band. We want to have another big party just so we can hire them again... which we definitely will do. Thanks, Poetic License! You're the BEST!!!!

This event was for my moms 60th birthday. She is a long time classic rock lover.
Poetic License were very good and made my moms celebration perfect for her to dance, sing, and even participate with the band. She loved it!
If you want a night full of good times and continuing entertainment you should call Poetic License.

We had weather that didn't want to cooperate, and the band was AWESOME about accomodating the change in plans for the day. We moved them from our stage to a more intimate setting on the veranda, and they handled everything smoothly. Our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful the band was! They definitely made our event a success, and we look forward to having them back at our future events!

Just let me say what a great experience I had dealing with Poetic License. All the band members were so professional and polite. They started off by arriving right on time and the evening was flawless. They played all our favorites and offered to take requests. I hope they will return to do our annual block party so more of our friends can enjoy their talent. Hands down, they are a great band. Good luck to you all Annette, George, Dennis and Roseane. My overall experience with the band was excellent. They arrived on time and were friendly to all our guests. They were very accommodating to our musical requests and were able to make the entire party dance the night away. The vocal and instrumnetal sound was GREAT!! Their online video does not fully portray their musical talent. It was an extreme pleasure having POETIC LICENSE perform at our party and would strongly recommend them to anyone who would like to have their party ROCK ALL NIGHT!

This is the second time we've hired Poetic License to perform for us and they were as amazing this time as they were the first time!
We had over one hundred people at our party and everyone raved about the band.
Everyone in the band is so talented, friendly and professional. There were several musicians at our party that all said Poetic License was great!
The lead singer; Annette, is an incredible singer!!!!!!

We hired Poetic License to play at a birthday party and they were awesome!!!! The band far exceeded our expectations!!!!! Annette rocks!!!! Great vocalist!!!!! The song selection they played was excellent. We danced every song. Poetic License really made our party a huge success!
