Peter Tye and his group were very accommodating and worked well with the dance instructor getting the music we needed. It was a true pleasure working with the group and I would recommend them to others I know. Peter and the Westchester Jazz Group were phenomenal. We hired them last minute for a college philanthropy event, and they were so accommodating and easy to work with. Our guests loved them. I would definitely recommend.

The group was very accomidating with us for the situation that was presented. They arrived early enough and set up promptly to start at the agreed time. They were not disruptive to the event at any time. Their music was appropriate and not disruptive.

We couldn't have been happier with the performance. Most of the music that was played was requested by our residents. Our Administrator couldn't have been happier with the party's turn out. Peter Tye and his Westchester Jazz Group were EXACTLY what I needed for the 60th Wedding Anniversary party my husband hosted for his parents...and they didn't fail to deliver! Peter was easy to work with, very respectful, took time to listen to my needs and mindfully made helpful suggestions that made our event a hit with all ages! Peter Tye was very professional: always returned my calls and emails in a timely manner. Because of that, I felt confident that he wouldn't let me down. His quartet was able to play all of our music requests, and on the night of our wedding, the quartet sounded fantastic (not too loud, not too soft - great sound!) We received a LOT of compliments from our guests about the quartet, and I only wish my husband and I could have sat and listened to them play more during our reception. I highly recommend the Westchester Jazz Group - they won't let you down!

Peter and his group played wonderfully. The selections were great and the volume was always perfect for the situation. Our request for a pianist at the wedding ceremony was handled superbly and every comment I heard from our guests was extremely complimentary. I couldn't possibly recommend them more highly.

The Westchester Jazz Group were really great guys to work with. We asked for a sax, and Peter came through along with accommodating our date on late notice. They are a perfect "background band" for a gathering. What they are not is a dance band and our only disappointment was with ourselves that we didn't ask the right questions to determine that in advance. We were under the impression they had performed at Mardi Gras parties before and just assumed they knew some of the Mardi Gras standards that are lively dance tunes. They were totally professional and disassembled so quitely that my remaining guest and I didn't even notice.

Peter was very professional in dealing with our event. He showed up very early and played long sets. We requested that he do some vocal numbers, which he did with no problem. They provided excellent background music while we had dinner and even provided an extra player at no cost. Would recommend to anyone!
