DJ Rick did a great job for our 40th class reunion. He did anything we asked him to do, from song request to making announcements for us. We all had a great time, and his music selection was just what we wanted. We would use him again!!

Rick was wonderful! We talked for months while my soon to be was in Iraq. We became friends and he is really great he listen to what I wanted, and when the day came e stepped up to the plate and did an outstanding job. We would tell anyone if you want a great DJ then Rick Gold is your man.

Mr. Gold was spectacular!!! He was extremely helpful and kept things running smooth. My wife and I had an unorthodox wedding and things did not run as smoothly as we had planned. There were a few monkey-wrenches thrown in with the timing, but Mr. Gold did a wonderful job at keeping everything going and the guest happy.
He found every song we wanted him to play, even with some non-traditional songs! When everything started to get settled down, he really shined as an awesome DJ!
I would have him at whatever future events in which we need a DJ. Definitely worth the reasonable price that he charges!

Black Tie Entertainment was absolutely amazing to work with. Rick was more than willing to find any song I gave him, even when it was only a few days before the wedding. The professionalism he showed and his ability to play the exact type of music was phenomenal. Our guests were up all night dancing and having the best time. We have been complimented so much on how fun our event was and we owe all this to Rick. If you want a wedding that people will talk about for years to come, you need to hire Black Tie Entertainment to DJ your event. I would love to use Rick again with any event we plan or participate in.

The event was a surprise birthday party. Rick, was on time and prepaired when the party was to start. I asked for a range of songs from the late 60's to the early 80's. He was well prepaired for this task. I would recommend him and will use him again in the furture. Good job Rick!

Rick did a great job entertaining our diverse group. We have young employees, the middleaged as well as the retired. Ages range form 18-80. This was our first experience with a DJ and we were well pleased. I would recommend him for a fun evening.

I had a time-line and play list and asked for NO variations. He had a tough crowd to deal with. We had a mix of party-goers and I wanted to keep this as PC as possible. The guest of honor - God bless my mom - wanted to PARTY on her 50th and to my surprise, so did everyone else. Once I scratched my time-line and tossed back an adult beverage, Mr. Gold kept everyone on the dance floor. Even with a snag or two on the cake/speech (our fault) - he kept things going smooth! And - with the request of a particular song played every hour ON THE HOUR - he added a few sweet words every once in a while.
I enjoyed working with him prior to the event as I am in California and this party was held on the opposite coast! He kept in touch and put me at ease. He even stayed over the over over over time we had planned.
I hope our paths will cross again.

I could not have asked for my interaction with Black Tie Entertainment to go any better! Rick Gold was very professional, very prompt and extremely friendly. He knew exactly what music to play and how to involve the audience. He was definitely the key to our party being a complete success! Of all the vendors we hired for our wedding, the DJ was most important to us. Rick made the day! We provided him with an obscure playlist. He found our songs and integrated them into a superb performance. His timing was impeccable when playing requested songs during our ceremony. At the reception everyone found him friendly and accommodating. He kept the party upbeat while keeping the ambience of the party unto our tastes. Rick arrived in ample time to set up and work with the wedding planner and other performers. His wife Angela who assisted in filming the video that we requested also served our wedding cake (a detail we completely forgot). Top Notch!!

Dj Rick was awesome! He was on time and set up, ready to go when we got to the reception! He kept the party going and was awesome announcing our wedding party! He was an important piece of our perfect day! We will definately use black tie entertainment for all of our future dj service and we would recommend him to anyone who don't have a lot of time to hold a djs hand and walk them through everything because with black tie entertainment they know exactly what to do and when to do it! Words can't describe how wonderful Black Tie Entertainment, Rick Gold, was at my daughter's reception. What a way to top off the reception venue with a wonderful performer and DJ. Rick is professional and will make your every wish come true for your Cinderella. He had all of the music that was requested and his rendition of "Unchained Melody was absolutely fantastic, and his rendition of Elvis Presley's "Loving You" made a memory that will last a life time. I highly recommend Rick for your entertainment.
