This was a lovely party and I really enjoyed playing the wonderful Steinway piano. And the guests who sang along over the last hour were such fun! Great voices! I was also disappointed that the professional cabaret singer did not perform that evening. I was certainly able to play her music. I am a good sight-reader and have accompanied many professional singers, often on very short notice. This was nothing new. What I told the singer was that it might not be a polished performance on my part because it was my first time seeing the music. She then decided that she would not sing. She said, “You don’t know my music.” But I was able to play the music. I didn't say no.Review by Richard M.
