Lucky Penny has played in many settings -- corporate events, private parties, weddings, clubs -- from the Ritz Carlton to the sand on Clearwater Beach.

Lucky Penny gives you a TRUE live band sound with a long playlist-- everything from Elvis to Lady Gaga. But it doesn't end there. Our musicians have played keys or classical guitar for wedding ceremonies and jazz duos for your cocktail hour. We can also add sax, horns, whatever you need depending on your event. Everyone in this band is a veteran performer, and EVERYTHING is played live -- no computer karaoke.

Even though we picked every song to be played at our daughter's wedding, the band made the songs sound new and fresh. Laine is a tremendous lead singer! • Lucky Penny did it again - our group had a great time! They came early, stayed late, and played fun music that had us dancing all night. They are our go to band, and we will most definitely use them again. They were nice enough to help me hang a sign while they were warming up! • Lucky Penny was more than we could have asked for! My husband and I were nervous when choosing a band due to past band "fails" from other weddings we had been too, but boy were our fears calmed! Their guitarist Ian Brandon played at our ceremony and then Lucky Penny started during cocktail hour, where they played nice "cocktail" music. • I found this band online so I was hesitant to book them without hearing them live. The band was quick to respond offering multiple upcoming events we could drop by to hear them play. • We booked Lucky Penny based on what we had read on gigmasters and could not have been more pleased. They were always available for questions leading up to the event. They learned an entirely new song to play during our first dance. Lucky penny arrived on time and dressed appropriately for our event. They made all the announcements and set the mood during dinner. • Lucky Penny played for our wedding of about 150 people and they were incredibly talented, professional, and, most importantly, entertaining. I had 40 or 50 people come up to me and tell me how awesome the band was. They started with some soft acoustic music during dinner and then as people started finishing up they kicked it up a few notches and ROCKED THE HOUSE. I would recommend them for any event. If you're looking for a cheesy wedding band with a tuba player, look elsewhere.
