Description
I am a classical guitarist, trained at Boston Conservatory with over 20 years experience performing and teaching in the Boston to Cape Cod area. My repertoire ranges from standard Baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary music, to pop and jazz standards. I began playing popular styles on electric guitar, and steel string acoustic before studying classical music, so I am comfortable with most styles; though I don't consider myself a jazz artist, I can improvise and arrange pop and jazz music in an idiomatic way for classical guitar.
I have also performed a wide variety of wonderful chamber music for guitar and flute, violin, cello and voice, in many different settings, in concerts and for special functions; with enough advance notice, I can generally provide an excellent instrumentalist or singer.
