Joseph was easy to work with in coming up with a great setlist that was appropriate on both sides. He has a pretty diverse repertoire which is really nice and took preferences and special requests. He showed up on time, looked sharp, and ready to play; his playing is great and knew how to improvise when needed. I would definitely recommend Joe for any special event that needed a competent and professional acoustic guitarist.

We asked Joe Scott to play at our wedding and, regarding our overall experience with him, we couldn't be happier. We feel like he provided an incredibly good bargain, considering the value that he added to our event. Prior to our wedding ceremony, Joe communicated with us frequently, over the course of many months, in helping us to hone the list of pieces that he would play. There were a couple of extended interludes during which Joe played demanding pieces as solos, and he played them very well. We received many compliments about his performance from our wedding guests. Joe is not only talented but punctual, professional and very friendly. We highly recommend him.

I cannot say enough about how great it was to have Joe at our wedding ceremony. We had several requests for our favorite songs and he met every request. He stayed in close contact with us during the planning of our wedding to make sure we were comfortable with our songs and his advice on selections. Joseph was excellent he far exceeded our expectations in every way. He was very professional and met with us the day before the even to go over last minute details. Joseph was helpful in suggesting the perfect song for the procession. Our guests were very happy with his wide range of music and playing ability. Joseph was excellent in communication prior to the event, and was flexible with specific requests that we made for our wedding reception. He is an excellent musician and acted in a very professional manner. Guests still comment to us about how wonderful he was!!! We did not have a regular DJ but wanted nice Classical music to set the mood for the evening, and he fit our style perfectly! I would highly recommend him to anyone, and would gladly hire him for any future event.

Our overall assessment of Joe is that he's very talented and people enjoyed listening to him play. In fact, we (my siblings and me)liked his music so much that would like to hire him to perform at our parents 50th anniversery party, which we will followup with Joe on another day.....

Joseph fit in to our wedding day wonderfully. His music was a beautiful addition for our cocktail hour. Our wedding was on the docks in Newport, RI but I think Joseph's sound would be nice anywhere, for any setting. He also learned a Jack Johnson song to play at our ceremony, which we both listened for and he played it perfectly. We were VERY happy that we chose him. I didn't have to concern myself with it once on the day-of because he knew what he was doing. He is very talented and professional.
