Harmonic Motion World Music Band from Fort Lauderdale, FL

Professional, exciting, hypnotizing, and eclectic . . . This multi-cultural music and dance group performs material from the Middle East, including Turkey, Armenia, Arabic countries, Sepharad, the Romany people, and Greece, as well as collaborations with Flamenco, African, Jazz, improvisational and avant-garde forms. The artists can perform traditional forms as well as creating original blends, depending on the event. The core performers are musician/composer Joe Zeytoonian and dancer/percussionist Myriam Eli. They have performed in concerts throughout Florida in many theaters, festivals, universities, colleges, radio, television, and private parties in addition to touring the United States, Latin America, Japan, and Europe, including Turkey. Additionally, they have recorded for Estefan Enterprises and Sony Music with Latin pop rock singer Shakira, with whom Ms. Eli toured and for whom she choreographed and drummed. Mr. Zeytoonian has also recorded with Gloria Estefan.
