Rick is a very professional entertainer. He preformed a very difficult task in keeping a small gathering of senior citizens awake on New Years Eve until midnight. We appreciate his patients with us and could not have seen the New Year in any better. We were lucky he was available and would strongly recommend him to young or older.

KC was the DJ for my 50th birthday party. Everyone that came to my party said the music was fantastic! KC was accomodating to all the songs that I requested for my party. She even reminded me that I wanted to do some dedications. I was having so much fun, I totally forgot about it. But, she remembered and wanted my event to be what I wanted it to be. Songs were played from the 60's, 70's and a smattering of country and hip-hop. She surveyed my group and activity level and used her discretion expertly to pick songs at the right times! SUPER JOB!!! We all had a blast!!!

Our DJ, Roger Smith, was exactly what we wanted for my daughter's informal wedding reception/party. He consulted with us in plenty of time to coordinate my daughter's eclectic musical tastes with what he had available. Roger arrived early and began on time. He was responsive and very entertaining but did not steal the show from the bride and groom. Thank you very much! I highly recommend Roger!

Rick did a fantastic job for us. He kept the crowd moving, knew when to raise and lower the energy in the room, and did a great job with some special requests. He was not the cheapest or the most expensive, but he was extremely good. I'd hire him again, no questions asked.

Rick was very professional in every aspect. He was prompt, dressed appropriately for the occasion, and was quite accommodating to the dynamic demands of the event. When he found out that our wedding photographer flaked on us, he took lots of pictures and short videos as well and shared them with us. One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was to hire Rick of A Blast Bands and DJs! I will definitely HIRE him again. So next time you need a DJ, just call Rick immediately. Rick was so great and really made my son's 5th birthday party come to life! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I supplied a list of my son's favorite songs and Rick played them all and songs that were similar. In addition, he brought a limbo stick and the kids loved doing the limbo. The kids (and kids at heart) loved the karaoke as well! The party was a Ghostbusters theme, and Rick really played along and adapted with our crowd. Fun was had by all. Music is such an important factor to make a party awesome, and Rick did just that! Thank you, Rick!
