Restaurant EventReviewed on February 5, 2018From Glen Mills, PA

We loved having them at the Saloon, Sabrina has a beautiful voice and it's a very sweet girl. They all know how to manage a crowd. Hopefully we can have them back soon!

Prompt, friendly and fun! Great musicians! The line dancer got everyone on the dance floor!

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on July 17, 2012From Lakewood, NJ

The six instrumentalists and two vocalists were excellent. They performed the wide variety of music we requested which included everything from Russian folk dances, polkas and waltzes to Sinatra and Aerosmith and everything in between. Our wedding guests, young and old, danced the entire afternoon and evening as the band provided continuous music. Having performed in a wedding band myself for fourteen years (started while I was yet in junior high, and played through high school, college, and law school), I knew the level of professionalism and musicianship which I expected. The band met every expectation to the delight of all present. I would highly recommend them.

This band saved our event! The dinner service was lacking, the crab soup was cold, some of the food was inedible, but no one remembered because the band was extraordinary. Everyone, and I mean everyone, was up and dancing. Older people, younger people, families, single people, married people, everyone danced and danced and danced. The performers truly enjoyed what they do. The more we danced, the more they performed. One of the singers even sang solos during the band brakes. This band is second to none!!!! We will definitely ask them to play for future events. I can't thank them enough!!!!

WeddingReviewed on August 11, 2005From Union, NJ

Alex, the violinist, gave an incredible performance. We had no idea what we wanted to hear, but we wanted something different from the norm. We told Alex that we likked clissical and we trusted his judgment. He gave an outstanding performance for the ceremony and the cockktail hour (outdoors). A couple of recently engaged freinds that were there wanted his contact information for their upcoming weddings. We highly recommend Alex and would not hesitate to book him for future events.

Club EventReviewed on October 15, 2018From Highlands, NJ

Very bad experience. Super disappointed. Was charged $625 for a 2 piece polka band. They didn't show up to the scheduled date but were able to come to the second day of my venue's Oktoberfest event. It was 2 guys playing over a CD track, not something I would have ever booked had I known that. The video of a polka band on their website was what I thought I was getting. Also the owner wanted me to pay the full price upfront, even though Gig Masters only asks for a deposit. He then agreed to let us pay balance day of but the band had to be paid before performing. That was a first for me.My customers thought it was a joke. Will never book again. Bad all the way around.

:

The musicians on this gig are of the highest caliber and have worked with us for over 30 years and have never had a complaint. They play authentic German polkas and are dressed in German lederhosen. The contract that was mutually agreed on called for payment in full prior to performance and the client agreed to those terms. We explained to the client that a Polka band does not sound full with two players, but that was all the client would pay for and insisted the music would be fine. When a duo comes out to perform it is the industry standard that they can and will often be augmented with pre-recorded tracks. The client requested a rain date and it was in fact raining
