South Florida's hottest and most exciting Violin Act is now available for YOUR private event, whether it is a wedding, private party, corporate function, or just a family gathering, Violin Extraordinaire Monty Bloom is guaranteed to bring your crowd to its feet and entertain your audience with a one of a kind violin show that nobody will forget.
Having a live violinist at your event is a great decision! But when you have one, you want your guests to be talking about how great it is, and how entertained they are! You don't want to have someone standing in the corner, playing boring music that nobody wants to hear, to create 'ambiance'.
You want someone to play music so well that people actually stop and LISTEN TO THE MUSIC!
Monty Bloom does just that. His performances are stage quality, regardless of the size of your event. Every musical performance should be treated like a performance for a crowd of 10000 fans by the PERFORMER.
Well versed in both classical and popular genres, Violinist Monty Bloom will dazzle you with the showmanship and artistry he brings to the music. If you are having a wedding ceremony, classical favorites such as Canon in D and Bach Air can be played to give your guests an elegant atmosphere. If you are having a cocktail hour or any other party where you are looking for hip and forward thinking entertainment, look no further.
Monty Bloom's Pop Violin Show is a one-of-a-kind act that has been many years in the making. It features unique and innovative performances of current popular hits that everyone loves to listen to, arranged to be performed on the violin. His electric violin lights up with colorful LEDs, culminating in a performance that is suitable for both stage shows and smaller scale events. Your guests will be dancing and partying to the music! This show is a great fit for almost any festive occasion and is suitable for all ages. If you are looking for a staged performance for a seated audience at your event, Monty Bloom is an experienced solo performer, having performed for crowds as large as 2000 since the age of seven.
All sound equipment is provided by the artist for engagements involving fewer than 300 guests. Monty Bloom can also improvise over a DJ's beats, however, the show is designed to work perfectly on its own without a DJ spinning. Other backup instrumentalists can be added to the show at additional charge.
If you are a more sophisticated aficionado of classical music, you will be pleased to know that a purely classical program can also be prepared, including the extremely technically demanding works of Paganini, Wieniawski, Sarasate, and Ysaye, played in the tradition of the old masters of the violin! (obviously this type of program would be performed on a fine Italian violin -- Monty Bloom performs all indoor classical engagements on a 1955 Mario Gadda marked Steffano Scarampella and a 1930 Morizot bow).
If you are a producer, singer, or songwriter, and are looking for a violinist or string ensemble to collaborate with you on your recording project, Monty Bloom is an experienced session musician, having appeared in several recordings for artists both large and small. Student and amateur songwriters/producers may be eligible for reduced pricing on recording violin tracks for their projects! Artists he has recorded for include Cristian Castro (including the opening violin solo on the track 'Preso'), Daniel Rodriguez (The Singing Cop), Deana Martin, and several more local artists. He also can be heard playing the opening of "The Kreutzer Sonata" on a commercial for the fragrance company Tabu by Dana. Styles he specializes in recording tracks for are classical, pop, dance, and hip hop.
Monty Bloom is available to be booked as both a solo artist and can also assemble string ensembles for your event as well, such as a String Duo, Trio, or Quartet. The pop show can have added backup violinists added to it as well for extra ambiance (recommended mostly for larger performances).
Monty Bloom is a native of South Florida and has been playing the violin since the age of four. He made his solo debut at the age of seven, and has been a full-time professional performer since graduating from the Eastman School of Music in 2008.
