A true Russian violinist, Grigori Gontmacher has graduated from top music school and music conservatorium in Russia and has been playing violin professionally for over 30 years now. He has played with bands, orchestras, DJs and solo all over the world which, at this point is accounted to over a few thousand gigs. His repertoire is multi cultural mix of famous compositions and tunes, which makes him versatile for practically any event - especially Russian, Jewish and American. He has a hundreds references in the United States alone - prior weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, corporate events, birthday parties, private shows, receptions, school and nursing homes performances, community events - the list goes on. Grigori is also a part of a string quartet and can perform with a number of other musicians upon request - whether it's a band, an orchestra, guitarist, etc. He is often hired for a solo show where he plays live with pre-recorded backing track - perfect for a reception or dinner time.
