Chrissie Thelma violinist Violinist from Tempe, AZ

Violinist Chrissie Telma Gudmundsdottir was born and raised in Iceland. She has been performing for over 16 years. Graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Iceland Academy of the Arts. She moved to Arizona in 2014 as a Fulbright scholar representative of Iceland and is expected to graduate with a Masters in Music Performance in Spring 2016. Chrissie competed in two of the biggest Iceland's Young Soloist competition of The Symphony of Iceland and won the competitions. The prize was the opportunity to play a concerto with the Symphony Orchestra of Iceland. Teaching young students has also been important to Chrissie, and she has been teaching now for almost ten years both private students and group music lessons. She loves to perform and has played in Classical Orchestra's, Pop/Rock groups, music videos, weddings and premiers.
