I love to walk from table to table and sing to people or stay on stage and utilize all the dynamics I feel! I sing to the highest quality backing trax - some of which have been special ordered or recorded - I present a high quality, professional performance. Singing and entertaining go hand in hand. I believe a lot of people can sing. When you combine the artform of being an entertainer along with a highly developed vocal skill, you have the complete package. I am confident I have that to offer. I use a wireless mic (Shure/Beta) and I always present myself professionally while maintaining a fun, energy-packed, entertaining ambiance. I'm able to read my audience and cater my interaction with the crowd based on each individual event. I love to walk around during the performance, engaging the audience and singing to people at their tables. I have an extensive music library and though I arrive prepared with set lists, I am easily able to take special requests from the audience. With a diverse 20-year stage and studio performance background in many mainstream music genres, I'm able to easily adapt my performance to the ambiance of any venue or event, including piano bar material, easy listening classics, classic rock, blues and blues/rock, pop and country. The sound I bring will be the complete sound of a full band including backup vocals, and I also incorporate my own live percussion instruments to enhance the overall sound/experience. I am originally from a small town in Michigan called Big Rapids. I came from a very musical family and my parents opened and built a successful music business called Quinn's Music. He was a drummer and passed away in 1977. The store is still open today but under new ownership. I have been singing since I could speak and entertaining small gatherings in the family at a young age, to her high school Homecoming dance, to pubs, corporate events, and weddings. I moved to Nashville in 1995 and then to Las Vegas in 1998 where I recorded in both Music City and in Vegas and opened up for Tom Jones impersonators and performed in many casinos. I enjoy utilizing the dynamics and passion when hitting the power notes and I love to involve the audience because they are the reason I sing - to bring magic, love and beauty to the hearts of those who listen and come to see me. I am looking forward to entertaining for local events, parties, weddings, pubs performing solo with the full-sound backing trax and playing percussion. My influences include Aretha Franklin, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Trisha Yearwood, Patsy Cline, Linda Rondstadt, Beth Hart, Etta James, Adele, Heart, Stevie Nicks, Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Eva Cassidy, Martina McBride, Joss Stone, Tina Turner, and many, many more! I have been told that my sound is unique, engaging, entertaining and has the ability to replace a full band at a very reasonable price!
