Julieann Banks is an award-winning vocalist, songwriter, bassist & guitarist and a full-time professional musician in Austin Texas. Julieann has performed at President George W Bush's Inaugural Ball in Washington DC, and at events for a wide array of clients including USAA, Valero Energy, The Great Texas Balloon Race, The Confederate Air Force, University of Texas, Texas A & M and Montessori Schools and many more. She has also been a bassist, guitarist, and vocalist with many well-known Austin groups such as The Austin Lounge Lizards, Rotel & The Hot Tomatoes, The Big Time, Earl Poole Ball, Casper Rawls, Leeann Atherton and more. Julieann has toured internationally with many world-renown acts including as a backing singer with Percy Sledge, in Japan as a singer/dancer with Legends of Las Vegas and for two tours of New Zealand playing her own music. Julieann has been compared to Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow,Lana Del Ray, Janis Joplin, Kacey Musgraves, Patsy Cline, Joss Stone, Neko Case, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Adele and many more but her voice and guitar playing are one of a kind and it's rare to find both in a one-person package!
