I could not begin to give Joe enough praise in these space allotted for this review, but I'll try. First of all, you never have to worry about Joe being late. He come in very early to set up and will even play some music through his speakers while doing so. Then, you just tell him what mood you want for the party and he rolls with it. I told him to start light while people were getting there and eating, and to see where the night goes. By the end of the night my family and friends (Hispanic and not Hispanic alike) were dancing to Cuban music and everything else Joe had in his awesome selection of songs. He will try to accommodate any request within reason. HIRE HIM!

we hired joe to play at our daughter's engagement party. he arrived early and immediately got to work setting up his incredible lighting gear. there was much chaos going on as we were all still working on the decorations, food, flowers and the bar etc... joe was super personable and fit right in with all the family fun. we had a diverse guest mix (young, old, latin, not) so joe kicked off the evening by performing some well loved tunes then took it up a notch and everyone out on the dance floor. when the kids had specific requests he was super accommodating by allowing them to plug their phones into his speaker system. we had an amazing night thanks to joe!

Joe was great. He was a last minute replacement, but really came through for my wife's 40th birthday party. Played music everyone knew and could enjoy. Was prepared to take requests. Overall just did a really great job. Thanks Joe!!

Joe showed up early and had great background music while setting up. His performance is wonderful and professional and suitable for all ages. Even when the skies opened up and rained on us, the music didn't stop. He had music playing during his breakdown as well. We will definitely use him again and we highly recommend him to others.

Joe Cantu was absolutely Fabulous. He arrived early, uses professional equipment, provided background music and used a large variety of music for all ages. Everyone had a great time.

Joe was professional, timely and fair. He has a large variety of music for all ages. We were extremely pleased with his performance. He added to our party. We would recommend him to a friend and would love to use him for another event.

After numerous parties using disc jockeys and their canned musical sets, we had the great pleasure of having Joe listen to our needs and customize the musical performance to maximize the enjoyment of our guests. He made the evening, and many of the guests commented how refreshingly different and professional he was. Joe utilizes a high quality sound and lighting system. But most importantly, his enthusiastic approach got everyone dancing which was exactly what we wanted.
